It's not just about the gifts but i wanted to remember a few of them. i was given so many nice things and as i've gotten older i've enjoyed giving gifts so much more than receiving them.

It was actually a lot of work helping Alli open her presents, then open mine once in a while, then watch everyone open theirs... let alone Emily and Kadin's gifts. Next year will be a complete and total tornado... one 2 year and two 1 year olds! Hahaha.

i can't wait to head to the zoo this spring and summer. Thanks Grandma!

My tail bone pain is getting ridiculous. i can't believe i'm going to have to make an appointment to have my coccyx checked out (which includes uhh insertion).

Christmas might be missing a few people this year because of the weather. It'll still be good though. Just a few a short days away.

Yup! We're up to 11" or so, including almost an inch of ice and it's not even done snowing. It's been pretty amazing to watch it pile up.

Our last tiny dump of snow.

We're expecting MORE snow tomorrow, up to 10 inches. This hasn't happened in YEARS so it'll be pretty neat if we actually see it, and if my husband gets home from work in one piece.

Ya know what's really weird about this whole mom thing? i'm responsible for cutting 30 finger nails and 30 toe nails on a regular basis, plus my own. Andrew said he wouldn't mind if i was in charge of his too.

i have done a little looking for the twins' Christmas stockings. i think i'm in denial about how CLOSE Christmas is... well, i ended up on Etsy, one of my favorite sites, and found this one. i adore that for Emily. And there are some darling blue or red ones for Kadin. i like the idea of buying hand made, seems much more special, and these happen to be made here in Oregon. Though i've purchased things on Etsy from all over, including Canada. They might be too spendy but if it's something they will have for *years*, it probably makes sense.

i have no problem letting retailers and restaraunts know when we had an issue with them (seems like we have a lot of issues). Especially now, when money is tight and we barely get to go out, so it's gotta be good! If they want to send us things, well, who am i to stop them? =)
