Why haven't they called to put my baby on a magazine cover yet? I mean look at her! =)

On the pregnancy front, i failed my 1 hour test and will be taking the 3 hour pain-in-the-ass test tomorrow. i can still hope that one turns out okay but i think i have to kiss pasta, rice, potatoes and bread good-bye. Not to mention desserts... and it's almost berry season!!! (Yes, the babies are more important than fresh blackberries and vanilla ice cream but i've been craving berries for months.)

So my hip pain is becoming unbearable. i've been waking up every morning either in tears or close to it. And trying to find a position to sleep in is getting impossible. It's also starting to radiate into my lower back and bum. Sitting is okay and standing is fine for a few minutes, although now my feet fall asleep really quickly. Walking is bad because i get Braxton Hicks contractions. Yikes, i am totally falling apart and i still have a good 13 weeks left.

Here's my belly yesterday, 23 weeks... i was about this big with Alli at 33 weeks.

 

The top ten reasons why men don't have babies.

10. They don't eat their vegetables.
9. They would never remember to take a daily vitamin. For 9 months.
8. They wouldn't stop their dangerous behavior (smoking, drinking, driving motorcycles...)
7. They can't handle being uncomfortable or in pain.
6. They're too cheap to buy new "fat" clothes.
5. They would freak out when milk starting squirting out of their boobs.
4. They're aren't very good at going to the Dr's, let alone every 2-4 weeks.

Ooooh in other news, i sold my '90 Honda Accord after owning it almost 13 years. Well, my mom sold it, actually. Some dude asked her yesterday if it was for sale (you wouldn't believe how many random people asked this even though there's NEVER been a for sale sign on it!) He offered a reasonable amount so i said ok. Part of me is incredibly glad it's gone and i don't have to deal with its problems anymore, but i'm surprised to find a part of me that's sad too. Like i could cry thinking about it (damn hormones). My one and only car, along with all of the memories, drove away last night. So strange.

We haven't purchased any art for a while...

i would LOVE to put some of her art work in Allison's room when we move.

My little sweet pea wanted to show Grandma her green outfit... She has her 6 month check up tomorrow (more shots, oh no!) and i know she'll be over 20 pounds, thanks to her deep love for the bottle. i wonder what solid foods she'll finally like.
